An issued EM/NCO field tunic for a Pioneer. This M36 model Heer jacket is made from field-grey cloth, has five buttons and comes with pleated pockets.
Breast eagle: EM/NCO woven model. Attached by hand.
Collar tabs: Generic type, mounted on field-gray backing. Reattached by machine
Shoulder boards: field-gray. Slip-on. Black piping.
Lining. Cotton lining
Markings: Maker and size stamp and m39 depot stamp.
Buttons: Complete. Different signs of wear. Most of the paint has worn off.
The tunic has reinforcements stitched on the inside to pad the shoulder area. The cloth has almost no nap left with minor damage, but there is no moth damage.
