Early peaked cap for HJ leaders, constructed with a fabric visor.
Red piping, which unfortunately was almost completely eaten away by moths on the right side.
Tombak cap eagle with one missing prong, but sits firmly in position.
Enameled HJ membership diamond with pin, not the correct type for hats. Brown leather chin strap with correct buttons and no damage. Grommets made of iron with full color on the outside. The inner lining is made of waterproof linen, with a stamp on it: "HJ Mütze nach Vorschrift der Reichsjugendführung 'Wasserdicht'" and the size "56". Below it is an RZM label with manufacturer number "16", the owner's number is not visible. The sweatband is completely intact with normal signs of wear.
Very nice visor cap that has only been worn a little, but unfortunately the piping was badly damaged by moths.
