Early solid Tombac/Buntmetall General Assault Badge. Made by the Lüdenscheid based maker Karl Wurster and properly marked with the maker's early small "w" logo. For a still unknown reason Wurster was the only maker to ever produce solid tombac/Buntmetall combat awards. On offer here is a first pattern variant void of any stippling between wings/paws and swastika arms. A very desirable GAB in overall good condition with minor traces of wear and finish loss.
