Early production nickel silver DLV (Deutscher Luftsportverband) dagger made by Carl Eickhorn.
Nickel silver pommel and cross guard. The cross guard is "K" stamped on one end. Wooden grip with blue leather covering in medium condition. Steel blade with overall corrosion etched with the 1933-1935 Eickhorn logo. Blue leather buffer pad still attached around the blade. Steel scabbard with blue leather covering damaged on multiple places. Nickel silver scabbard fittings. Bottom fitting is missing both scews. Top fitting is stamped on the throat with the DLV logo. Nickel silver hanger clip with steel reinforced stiff leather hanger. Some of the leather is torn off the hanger.
