M38 RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) early production hewer dagger made by Carl Eickhorn.
Heavy production nickel handle with horn grip scales. Light damage on the top of the handle. Lightly corroded blade featuring the etched motto "Arbeit adelt" on the front and the early Eickhorn double oval logo together with the "GES.GESCH." marking on the back. Black repainted steel scabbard with nickel fittings. The top scabbard fitting has both screws in place, while the bottom scabbard fitting is missing both screws and has been modified by closing the screw holes.
