M1942 German Heer single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « ET62 » with a lot number of « ?357 ». The exterior is in overall very good condition and retaining over 97% of the factory issue matte paint with some minimal scuffs and scraps. Decal rates in at approximately 45% due to a poor adhesion on the matte paint. Split pins intact and all in place. The interior is in the same condition as the exterior. Leather liner is supple, pliable and retains its original tan color. Nicely stamped for size along one of the tongues « 55 ». Original drawstring is present. Overall a nice classic example of a Heer single decal combat helmet.
