Privately purchased field tunic for a Luftwaffe Generalmajor, made from blue-grey gabardine. All insignia appear to be original to the tunic
Buttons: Gilt. Complete
Breast eagle: Gold bullion hand-embroidered type on blue-grey wool backing. Attached by hand postwar. Excellent quality.
Collar tabs: Nice patina. Attached by hand postwar.
Shoulder boards. Sewn in. Generalmajor (brigadier General)
Lining: Fine silk lining. A Vienna-based tailor's tag is present.
Two loops for a short ribbon bar and one set of loops on the left pocket for a qualification badge or award.
No moth damage. The tunic is in very good condition.

A privately purchased example. Complete buttons.
The white General stripes to both sides are machine-attached. A Hannover-based tailor's tag is present but no name label.
