SS Chained Service Dagger M36.

Handle: 
Black wooden handle with inlaid SS roundel and "Neusilber" eagle. 
Condition of the handle: A small chip on the front side above the lower fitting. Two small chips on the backside. 
Handle fittings: Early nickel fittings. Lower crossguard "Mi" (Mitte) stamped.
 

Blade:
Steel blade featuring the etched motto "Meine Ehre heisst Treue"
Maker's mark: -

Scabbard:
Finish: Black anodized finish. Typical for early daggers.
Fittings: Early nickel fittings. The center and the lower fitting are made from steel. The upper fitting made from nickel.
Screws: One screw is missing

Chain: Original attached nickel-plated iron dagger chain ("C" type). The chain links bear SS runes and skulls. "SS" stamped on the reverse. Fully working snap-clip, so-called "Germanic knot".
