M36 NSKK Chained Service Dagger

Description

Restored NSKK chained Service Dagger with a scabbard from the Honor dagger.

The dagger belonged to Gauleiter (Elsass) and NSKK-Obergruppenführer Robert Heinrich Wagner.

The blade comes with the etched motto "ALLES FÜR DEUTSCHLAND". Aesculap, Tuttlingen maker marked. The blade with rust scars. Professionally cleaned. Brown wooden handle with inserted enamel SA roundel and national eagle. Some small cracks in the handle. No chipping. Fine nickel-plated fittings. The lower fitting with engraving "Robert Wagner" and "Sw" (Südwest) Gau stamp.

Repainted black steel scabbard with fittings made from real silver. Two small dents on the lower fitting. Four screws are in place. The screw of the middle fitting is missing. Including the original chain. Made from real silver. "800" silver stamped.

An ultra-rare dagger, however, restored. Most probably found in the water.
