A very nice 1st pattern "old style" visor cap for an officer with a soft leather visor. Collector's call this type of cap a "crusher cap".
Orange piping für Wehrersatzwesen or Feldgendarmerie without any damage or moth bites.
Machine woven cap eagle and wreath badge. The cap eagle was re-attached by hand, the wreath badge looks originally attached by hand.
The lining is made out of light orange cotton, and shows a barely visible manufacturer stamp "Peküro". A celluloid diamond was never attached. No size stamp visible.
The brown leather sweatband is still soft, and without any damage.
Only normal signs of use and age to the inside!
Beautiful cap with fresh colors, with a few small moth bites and a small stain to the lid.
