A German M40 helmet. A wartime type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.
Paint: Original factory sand-paint. Around 80% still present. Signs of wear. Some rust.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 80%. It has slightly suffered.
Lining: Lining with signs of use and age. Cord missing. Still flexible. Named.
