Experimental Wehrmacht M35 steel helmet with attached steel visor. A comparable helmet is described by Ludwig Beer on page 431 of "The History of the German Steel Helmet".
We believe this helmet was postwar configured to imitate the prototype helmet!
Original paint about 65%. The shell "3086"stamped and "SE66" maker marked. Without liner and rivets. The front area was removed and together with a supplementary front shield "visor" re-attached. The shield is slightly moveable and has stripes and one hole for the view. One other hole to the top of the shell.
