An uncommon double-breasted surcoat of a Schützen-Regiment 2 for an armoured unit. The Surcoat was worn over the normal greatcoat for extra warmth, such as for sentry duties. It has 2 chest slash pockets, in addition to the flapped waist pockets. This one has the dark green collar as with the pre-war models.
Lining: Fully lined with woollen lining.
Buttons: Complete, except for shoulder buttons.
Shoulder boards: Dark green base with pink piping. Chain embroidered "S" and "2", Sewn on sloppy.
Markings: Has maker "Kreisel" and size markings, as well as depot "M 36" stamped.
The surcoat is lightly used but unfortunately has some large moth holes in the outer cloth.
