Duke Leopold Friedrich of Anhalt-Dessau

The long service clasp was awarded from 1848 until April 6, 1870. It was ordered by statue that it had to be returned to the military command upon the death of a recipient. The first 22 clasps were awarded on February 26, 1848. Based on research, 127 living recipients were identified in the 1867 state handbook, as those continued service within police or other civil positions.
