A clearly worn "been there" Waffen-SS M43 field cap with original insignia, The insignia were attached very sloppy by hand. A machine-woven skull badge along with a sleeve eagle (!. The black cloth backing was cut off to make it smaller.
Grey cotton lining without markings.
Not issued by the factory like this but worn like this in the period!
