Description

Rare Kriegsmarine grouping to Max Knoppik serving as a master diver "Tauchermeister".

Certificate to Honor Cross of WWI. Issued on 09.07.1935. Hand-signed. 

Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Issued on 17.04.1944. Hand-signed by Vizeadmiral Helmuth Brinkmann, Knight's Cross winner. 

Certificate to 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords. Issued on 22.12.1942. Hand-signed by Admiral Karlgeorg Schuster, German Cross in Gold winner.

Certificate to 1939 War Merit Cross 1st Class with Swords. Issued on 29.08.1943. Hand-signed by a Fregattenkapitän.

Kriegsmarine Soldbuch "Einsatzbuch". Issued on 24.06.1944. His photo was added again. The Soldbuch shows the note "he is a member of the Wehrmacht but must wear the armband, he can also wear a weapon and is obliged to fight". Another entry reads "he is a civilian employee of the Kriegsmarine". Awards: 1939 War Merit Cross 1st and 2nd Class, 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross 2nd Class, and Crusade Against Communism Medal. Listed on page 4. Complete with all the pages. The swastikas have been painted over. Signs of use.

Five special identification documents (marching orders) for his service as a master diver. He was used for salvage work and inspections in the harbor.

A photo of him in his diving suit. Size: 6x9 cm.

Three documents from the post-war period relate to his work as a diver. Additionally a Czech document/ID card.
