Beschreibung

A nice grouping to Unteroffizier/Oberjäger Helmut Uhlemann serving Luftnachrichten-Regiment 11 and Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 11. He served in France, North Africa (Tunis), and Italy until the end of the war. 

Certificates to Westwall Medal, 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords, Italian-German Medal for the African campaign, Cuff Title "Afrika", and Wound Badge in Black. The War Merit Cross certificate was signed by Generalmajor Stefan Fröhlich, Knight's Cross winner.

Luftwaffe Soldbuch. Contains a large number of entries. Issued on 12.09.1939. Original photo. All of his units are listed on pages 4 and 17. Awards: 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class on 20.04.1945, 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords, Italian-German Medal for the African campaign, Cuff Title "Afrika", and Wound Badge in Black. Complete with all the pages. Some pages are loose and the swastika on the front cover has been painted over. 

Two nice portrait photos of him, two Fallschirmjäger group photos, and two photos with his girlfriend.

1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords with the original ribbon. 

Italian-German Medal for the African campaign with the original ribbon.

Afrikakorps veteran's badge. Postwar.

RAD "R" cuff title. Length: 35.5 cm.

Enclosed are further documents, including a pass to enter the city of Rome (before 1945).
