An excellent and ultra-rare portrait photo of HJ leader and SS-Sturmmann Josef Tscherne. He served with SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment "Nordland". Part of the 5. SS-Panzerdivision "Wiking". Close Combat Clasp winner in Bronze on 04.04.1943.

Postcard size. A hand-written dedication to his sister on the back. Please note the "small details" such as the skull ring on his hand, the SS EM/NCO belt buckle, and the SS badge.
